Privacy

Short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell anything, and we don’t publish anything about you. Discretion is the point of this site.

What we collect

If you join the Thursday List: your email address, and the fact you confirmed you’re 18 or over. Nothing else. We don’t ask for your name, your location, your relationship status, or anything about your interests.

If you just read the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our host for security and troubleshooting, plus a cookie set by the age gate so you aren’t asked to confirm your age on every page for 30 days.

We do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, or behavioural profiling.

What we do with it

Your email address is used for one thing: sending you the Thursday List. It is stored in our website’s own database. We don’t sell, rent, share or trade it, and we don’t hand it to venues — venues never receive your details from us.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@swingershub.com.au at any time and ask us to delete your address, and we’ll do it and confirm — no questions, no retention period, no “are you sure” sequence.

Cookies

Two, both functional: the age gate confirmation (30 days) and, if you submit the signup form, a short-lived cookie to prevent duplicate submissions. No analytics or advertising cookies are set at this time. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

Third parties

The site is hosted in a standard shared hosting environment, and web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. Links to venue websites are ordinary outbound links — once you follow one, that venue’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Subscriber data sits in the site database, accessible only to the site administrator. We keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, because the safest data is the data you never collected.

Contact

Questions, corrections or deletion requests: hello@swingershub.com.au.

This page describes how SwingersHub handles your information. It isn’t legal advice, and it doesn’t cover the venues we write about — each of those runs its own policies.
