This is the shortest page on this site, and that is the finding. Adelaide has a lifestyle scene — but almost none of it is published anywhere we can check, and we are not going to pad this page out with claims lifted from review sites to make it look more substantial than the evidence is.
How this page was built. Every venue below was read from its own public website on 20 September 2026 — not from directories, review sites or listings aggregators. Where an operator publishes nothing, we say so rather than filling the gap. We have not visited these venues; this is a desk check of what each one states about itself, which is a narrower claim than a review and a far more verifiable one.
The Rabbit Hole Adelaide
Adelaide, SA · Private members club
The one Adelaide operator we could verify from its own website. It describes itself as a private members club for “open-minded, discerning adults interested in consensual non-monogamy, swinging, and alternative relationship dynamics”, and states it is built on “values of consent, respect and personal responsibility” — a positioning around consent culture that is more explicit than most operators bother with.
What it does not publish, as at our check: its address, its operating schedule, its facilities, its membership requirements, or any prices. That is a members-club posture rather than an oversight — the details come after you apply — but it does mean there is very little we can tell you in advance, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.
What this means if you are starting out
A city where the scene is private-membership rather than public-venue changes how you approach it. You cannot browse a calendar and book a quiet first night at the back of a bar, which is the approach we normally recommend to newcomers. The route in is an application, and the waiting is part of it.
Two things worth doing first, both of which travel: read what actually happens on a first night so the application is not the only thing you are thinking about, and have the conversation our boundaries tool is built for before you are on anyone’s guest list. Neither is Melbourne-specific.
If you know the Adelaide scene
We would genuinely like this page to be longer, and we will extend it the moment there is something verifiable to extend it with. If you run an Adelaide venue or event, submit it free — we will check it against your own site and publish what you publish. If you attend and we have obviously missed an operator, tell us.
Questions people ask
Are there swingers clubs in Adelaide?
There is at least one: The Rabbit Hole Adelaide, a private members club. Unlike the larger eastern-city venues it publishes no address, schedule or prices publicly, so joining begins with an application rather than a booking.
Why is this page so short?
Because we only publish what an operator publishes about itself, and Adelaide operators publish very little. Filling the gap with claims from directories and review sites would make the page longer and less trustworthy, which is the opposite of the point.
Where should I start if I am in Adelaide and new to this?
The same place as anywhere: the conversation with your partner before the venue. Our boundaries tool and first-night guide are not Melbourne-specific, and both are free.
