Updated 10 August 2026 · next update Monday
Every lifestyle event publicly listed in Melbourne this weekend, grouped by night. Prices are the venues’ own, and every booking link goes directly to them — we don’t sell tickets.
Thursday 13 August
Taste: A Night for Newbies
The venue's relaxed introductory event, designed for people who have never been to a lifestyle bar or are still finding their feet. The gentlest entry point on this week's calendar.
Friday 14 August
35 and Under
An age-bracketed night for a younger crowd at the Balaclava wine bar. Entry closes at 11:00pm regardless of ticket.
Acoustic Guitar with Chenai Boucher
A live acoustic set to open the night - the venue pitches it as an evening built around connection and relaxation rather than volume.
Saturday 15 August
Photographer & Model Portfolio Collaboration
A daytime portfolio session for photographers and models from beginner to intermediate level, run with an external photography host. Different format and different rules to the evening events.
Naked (or dressed down) Karaoke
Exactly what the name suggests, and a fair indication of the room's sense of humour. Dress down as far as you're comfortable - or don't. Entry closes at 11:00pm.
Club Pineapples: Pop Punk with DJ Slave Barbie
The venue's club night, this week on a pop-punk theme - fast, loud and deliberately nostalgic. Runs through to 2:00am.
Sunday 16 August
Nothing publicly listed at either venue. Between Friends lists Sunday through Thursday as available for private functions rather than public events, so a quiet Sunday is the norm rather than a gap in our listings.

Before you book
Check who the event is for. Every listing states its audience — couples, single women, solos, under-38s, single men on nominated nights. Turning up outside it is the most common reason people are turned away.
Watch the door time. Between Friends declines entry after 11:00pm irrespective of a pre-purchased ticket, unless arranged in advance. Arriving early is normal and makes for a better night.
Know where you’re going. Between Friends publishes its Balaclava address on its own site. Pineapples provides its South Melbourne address on your purchased ticket — check your confirmation before you set out.

Listings are drawn from the venues’ public calendars and rebuilt each Monday; venues change programming at short notice, so confirm before you travel.
