Feeld is the most modern app in this category and the only one that treats non-monogamy as a design premise rather than a checkbox. Couples can link profiles and browse together, it is genuinely usable without paying, and its in-app privacy tools are the best of any platform we cover. It is also the app whose own disclosure declares the most extensive data collection, including data used to track you across other companies’ apps. Both things are true, and this review holds them together.
How this review was done. We have not used the app under test conditions and will not pretend we have. This is a desk review of what the platform publishes about itself: its Australian App Store listing on 19 September 2026 (prices in AUD, and the App Privacy disclosure Apple requires every developer to complete), and its own website. A narrower claim than a hands-on review, and a far more verifiable one. We take no commissions and there are no affiliate links on this page.

What it is
Feeld describes itself as a dating app for open-minded individuals, with a community it puts at over fourteen million. Its App Store listing offers more than twenty gender identities and twenty-plus sexualities, and the product is built for people exploring dating, casual connection, kink and non-monogamy in what it calls a judgement-free place. The current build (9.12.1) was updated in September 2026 and ships in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
Built for couples properly
This is the feature that separates it from everything else here. Feeld’s website says you can link profiles with up to five other people and explore solo or together, always transparently, with group chats so everyone can talk before meeting. It sounds minor and is not. Most apps make couples improvise with one account and an explanatory bio; Feeld lets you behave like a couple.
What it costs
Feeld’s own site says it is completely free to download and use — you can connect, explore profiles and send messages without paying. The paid layer is Majestic, and the Australian App Store lists it at:
| Majestic | $35.99 for 30 days · $59.99 for 90 days · $139.99 for a year |
|---|---|
| Pings | 1 for $2.49 · 5 for $11.99 · 10 for $19.49 · 20 for $31.99 |
| Uplift | $10.99 |
Majestic unlocks seeing who liked you, revisiting likes you have sent, Incognito mode, private photos shared only with connections, filtering by desires and last seen, unlimited likes, a “go back” on the last profile you passed, and one free Ping a day. A Ping jumps your profile to the top of someone’s queue with a note attached; Majestic members get one every 24 hours and they do not roll over. Uplift is a 24-hour visibility boost that nobody is told you used.
The listing also shows a “Feeld Subscription” at the same 30- and 90-day prices as Majestic; treat it as the same product under an older name. Feeld’s site says pricing varies by location and directs you to check in the app, so confirm before subscribing.
What it collects
Apple requires every developer to declare what an app collects and whether it is linked to your identity. Feeld’s declaration is the most extensive of the four platforms we cover:
- Data used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites: purchases, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics.
- Linked to you, for the developer’s advertising or marketing: purchase history, email address and product interaction.
- Linked to you, for personalisation: purchase history, precise location, your contacts, photos and videos, user and device IDs, and sensitive information.
- Linked to you, for analytics and functionality: the same categories plus customer-support content and crash data.
Set that beside the privacy features in the next section and you have the tension worth naming: strong privacy from other users, considerable data sharing with the company and its advertising partners. Neither cancels the other. If you use Feeld, decline the contacts permission — there is no benefit to you in a dating app reading your address book — and turn precise location off.
Privacy from other users
Feeld’s trust and safety page is specific, which is more than most. Incognito mode hides your profile until you choose to like someone. Screenshot protection blocks screenshots of images in chats, though not videos, and on Android it also prevents message text being captured; Feeld does not notify anyone when a screenshot is attempted. You can set timers on photos or send videos viewable once. Blur protection hides unsolicited nude images until you choose to see them. A safety team is described as available worldwide, 24/7.
Verification is optional: a photo check using facial recognition that confirms a member’s likeness to their photos. It is not identity verification in the document sense, and it is not required — look for the verified marker if it matters to you.
Australian relevance
Feeld is a global product and its own listing talks about exploring twenty-plus cities worldwide rather than any Australian presence. In Melbourne and Sydney the user base is real. Outside the capitals it thins out fast, and that is the honest limit of the app here.
Who it suits
Couples who want a proper shared experience. Queer and non-binary users — it is the most comfortable of the four on gender and orientation, where the others are largely built around male-female couples. Anyone who cares about interface quality, and anyone who wants to try before paying.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone whose first priority is minimising the data a company holds on them — SDC declares that what it collects is not linked to your identity. Anyone in regional Australia, where RedHotPie is likelier to show someone nearby. And anyone who wants the local scene itself — club and party listings, swinger-specific profile fields — which is Adult Match Maker‘s pitch.
