Swingers Melbourne — Events, Venues and Guides

Melbourne has the most established lifestyle scene in Australia — two purpose-run venues, a calendar that changes weekly, and a culture that’s considerably more structured and more welcoming than outsiders expect. This is the hub for all of it.

How the scene works, briefly

It’s ticketed and scheduled. Both venues publish calendars and sell tickets in advance. This isn’t a scene you stumble into — you book, like you would for a gig.

Every event states its audience. Couples, single women, solos, under-38s, single men on nominated nights. Reading that line before booking prevents the single most common problem people hit at the door.

Door times are firm. Between Friends declines entry after 11:00pm regardless of a pre-purchased ticket. Arriving early is the norm and makes for a better night anyway.

Newcomers are catered for deliberately. Both venues run beginner-focused events, because a first-timer who has a comfortable night comes back. You’re not expected to arrive knowing anything.

Discretion is the baseline. No photos, no phones, nobody’s attendance discussed elsewhere. Universal, and universally enforced.

We’re an independent guide. We don’t sell tickets, we’re not affiliated with any venue, and every booking link goes to the venue’s own site. Details here come from the venues’ public websites — always confirm with them before booking. About this guide →
