Three questions. No email required, nothing stored. Work out which Melbourne venues and event types actually suit you before you spend money on a ticket.
This tool needs JavaScript to run. In the meantime, the venue rankings and the first-night guide cover the same ground in prose.
How this works
The recommendations come from what the venues themselves publish about who each event is for — not from our opinion of you. Between Friends states that its events are for couples and single ladies, and that single men can attend only events specifically flagged as open to them. Pineapples runs events with varying stated audiences, including solos nights, and operates an introduction system for new guests.
That’s genuinely all the tool is doing: matching what you’ve told us against published venue policy, so you don’t buy a ticket to a night that was never open to you. Nothing you select is stored or sent anywhere — it runs entirely in your browser.
Still not sure?
Read what actually happens on a first night for the full walkthrough, the etiquette guide for the unwritten rules, or the complete guide to Melbourne’s swingers clubs. If you’re a single man, the single men’s guide covers the policies in much more detail than this tool can.
You have a shortlist. Here is when they are on.
Find Your Night tells you which rooms suit you. The Monday List tells you which of them are actually running something this week — every verified event across Melbourne, one email on Monday morning, so you have the week to plan rather than the afternoon.
Someone asked you where to start?
Send them this instead of trying to explain it. Three questions and they get a shortlist of the rooms that suit them — no account, no email.
No share buttons, no tracking pixels — these open your own phone’s share sheet or your own email app. We never see who you send it to, and we never ask you for their address.
